A Reminder

...that Cavell movie night begins (really begins, this time) this Thursday, the 1st of November. We're showing Preston Sturges' 1941 comedy The Lady Eve. We'll discuss the film plus the coordinating chapter from Pursuits of Happiness, which is available as in PDF format [here]*. Graduate student Kristin Boyce will lead the discussion.

So: 7:00 p.m., November 1st, Stuart 101, The Lady Eve. Bring a friend!

*Take note: The PDFs are posted on the Philugs Chalk site for copyright-related reasons. If you want to access the Cavell PDFs, email me (Jon, jkurinsky punctuation gmail punctuation com) so that your chalk account can given access to the Philugs page, because the little copyright daimon that lives inside Chalk only lets those registered to an organization's page follow links to that organization's uploaded content. I've added a number of the usual undergraduate suspects to the roster already, in addition to the graduate students leading the discussions, so check to see if you've already been added before sending me an email.
